Laras and Raya

                Once upon a time, there lived in a village isolated two friends. They are always spend time together with having fun. They named are Laras and Raya. Laras just stay with his mother, and they were a poor. Every day, she had to look for fire-wood in the forest. To be sold by her mother. And Raya is a child wealthy in the village. She also has a good hearts and never picky about his friends daily. Raya always accompany to Laras looking for firewood in the forest.

                One day, when they were gathering firewood in the forest, suddenly came a winds is very powerful, so that makes them very far apart. Laras was felled in a deep ravine. And Raya were carried away into the jungle that they had never seen the jungle. When they are aware, they did not saw each other beside them. Laras who fell in a ravine seek Rayascreaming with tears rolling down his face. In other hand, Raya was also cried just seeing his own self in the darkening woods.

                They did not know what they were should do. They were just walked every day. And one week passed, Laras met a farmer who walked hastily away from the jungle where Raya is Lost. Farmer was surprised to see Laras who had lost one week. ’Laras, what is you?’The farmer Asked. ’Yes sir, I’m Laras’. Laras said.‘May I ask, for some water?’ Pleasure,the farmer answered. A few minutes later, ‘sir, what is my mother is alive?’ Laras asked. Yes Laras, every day, she always cried waiting for you back to home. If so, please tell to my mom that I was fine I could not go home because I have for look to Raya. And then suddenly, the farmer were remembered something. Oh yeeah, earlier in the north jungle, I was heard the sound of people crying. But, I did not Knew who and what of it. It was makes me scared and finally I got away from the jungle. Hear that, Laras quickly went into the jungles alone, because the farmer had to go home to give the news to the family of Laras.

                After laborious gait, Laras was reached the edge of the jungle where lost Raya. Laras was free to her foot farther into the jungles because she was afraid of not find Raya there. But, for the sake of her friend get into the jungles. She kept walking and shouted the name of Raya.Rayaaa. . . Rayaaa. . . ‘Where, are you?’ Laras said. ‘Do you hear me?’ Raya was who had exhausted the energy, hear the voice of Laras, she was re-energize while answering the question of Laras. Laraaas. . .  Laraaas. . . ‘it is me,Raya in this jungle.’ Raya answered. ‘Please, help me?’ severely injured my foot, I was could not move. Laraas. . . Laraaas. . .  Raya said.

                A few hours later, Laras was discovered Raya. They were very happy and then, they find a way out of the jungle. After long runs they were finally reached the village. And meet their families. Rayawas told her parents of all the happened with hers. And then, Raya was gives Laras and her mother a gift house that is a good gift for the good of the faithful Laras, kind and caring at Raya. And finally, Raya was appointed Laras as her sister. They were lived happily together.

            Indonesia is rich in cultures and customs. Every region in Indonesia has different customs depending not least in the city where I was raised and in the birth, also have customs. One of them is customs is used during the marriage process. In Bengkulu, if two people want to get married, they are must consensus among their families. In this consensus, both families meet and exchange ideas to achieve common interest. Like, set a wedding date, the amount of money to cover the event in the family gave him.

            The next application process is also called conduction money from the man to the house of the bride applicant in the evening by inviting family and surroundings communities. When the application process, groom prospective are prohibited from participating deliver the application money. The application process is done one month before the wedding is done.

            The night before the wedding took place, called is “the henna night” or ‘’ Inaicuri”. Both bride and groom wear henna in all their fingers to make it beautiful looks. When, the wedding process has taken place, the wedding reception will be performed on the next day from the morning until the night. There are two brides wedding dress using some typical of Bengkulu and then sat in the aisle that had been specially prepared. In the afternoon, a wedding reception will be held event called “mencaksilat” tradition. To the two brides will dance accompanied by their closest family and the next a groom continued martial collided with there. And then, both the brides will around the place they live, it’s called is ‘’Belarak”. By using a lot cars in the family or neighbors follow her around the surrounding area where they live to the accompaniment of use musical instruments special for weddings.

            That are the little partly about my hometown wedding of customs. A tradition is doing by people of Bengkulu at the wedding. I will always remember about it, my Hometown.

Woman should stay at home and man should the work

In this time, not only man but also woman is very much the work. They are work to get a pay in achieving they need everything, such as the cost of living for families, the cost of food, clothing, and shelter. And also, for the education expenses of their children who also require cost that much. It all makes them competing in the works.

Not only man, in this modern era now make many womenare the work to requirement suffice their life. With the result that makes them forget their duty that, in fact it a woman only charge of setting up the need for families. Like, cook for her families, clean the house, etc. And then, a man task is work to earn money for her family.

But in this time, many also men nor women not doing remain as it should be. Many also men who are only stay at home. And a wife or women are the work. This condition should not happen. Because at its basis a woman should stay at home taking care of family needs, her children. And men must work to meet the needs of his families. Cause man is the backbone of the family should be responsible for only one his family. Whereas, woman in charge and accompany her obligations as a woman. So, woman should stay at home and man should the work.

My Hometown is Beautiful

My Hometown is Beautiful

This is a story about my hometown Bengkulu. A city where a place of I was bron.Bengkulu is location on the Island of Sumatera, Indonesia. Bengkulu is a city with inhabitant diverse, consists of many kinds ethnics and cultures like, ethnic Rejang, Serawai, etc. Bengkulu also has multilingual like, MelayuBengkulu language, lembak language, Rejang language, Serawai language, etc. Many people calling to Bengkulu as unique city causes there are many has languages which differences, one language and another language in a regency or city in Bengkulu.

             Many my experienceswhocan’t forget to me like a tourist area. Bengkulu has many of the tourist areas like a tour of nature and a tour of history. The popularly a tour of nature is “Long Beach”. It location is around 3km from Bengkulu city. Many are public transportation to the beach. There are many shady pine trees along the beach decorate. And also there are  many are restaurant hotel. The beach also has parking area facilities, swimming pool, cottages, etc. If weekend many of people come to long Beach, just have a good time with families and friends. Kind the tour of history is “Fort Marlborough”. Sturdy fort relics of the British government, the location fort is the end of the Long Beach precisely is TapakPaderi. The fort consists of many rooms. Property storage rooms, armory rooms, dungeon rooms, etc.

            That are the little partly about my hometown “Bengkulu”. My hometown is unique because many kinds of the ethnics, cultures, languages, tourists area in my hometown. I’m very proud with my hometown. Hometown is where I’m grow up together, will be pride  and always in my hearts forever.

The Memories in My Study

                Writing 1 is one of the lesson who I was study in the first college. All students will learned about writing 1 because that is the subject to be an important basic before began making a good paragraph. I was very happy study writing 1 because I got many experiences in the study writing 1.Before, I never recognize about it and now, I know important point in writing.  Study about writing 1 made me like to write. Writing about something which make me happy. Many experiences which I found in study writing 1.

Writing 1 made me understanding everything the rule in writing. For example, I can write a good paragraph. In making a good paragraph, we must know what the means of paragraph is and structure of paragraph. Paragraph is a group of sentences about a single topic. Usually paragraph is often between three until ten sentences. The structure of a paragraph comprise of topic sentences, supporting details, and concluding sentences.

If we were want to write the something, we must know about topic sentences that is the one important idea in a paragraph. Supporting details comprise of body and sentences details. Concluding sentences like, conclusion or summary provides a review of important ideas. Not only about paragraph and structure of a paragraph bur also I know about kinds of the sentences like, simple sentences, compound sentences and complex sentences. And I know kind of paragraph for example, narrative paragraph,descriptive paragraph and recount paragraph.

In the writing 1 was very much experiences which I found, experience about writing. I knew what the means of paragraph is, structure of paragraph, kinds of sentences and kinds of paragraph. So, many experiences which I found in study writing 1. And that is make me happy study of writing 1.
